Danielle Kurzinger graduated from Villanova University with a Psychology degree and furthered her education at Penn State in order to obtain a Health and Physical Education degree.  She started out teaching an adaptive class for a semester after fulfilling degree requirements.  She then moved into a teaching position at the Senior High School level instructing 11th and 12th grade students.  Danielle has been teaching Physical Education at State College Area High School for 14 years now.

Danielle has been involved with State College’s martial arts curriculum since her arrival to the school and has been learning and consulting with Bruce Lombard since 2008 to help evolve the program and her own teaching strategies to where it is now.  State College Senior High has a selective physical education program that consists of a well-rounded variety of activities, with one of those being this evolved martial arts fitness unit.

Danielle continues to attend many seminars, workshops, and conferences around the state of Pennsylvania in order to continue with my professional development.  She is very excited and optimistic about sharing this Martial Arts Fitness program with other school districts and professionals in order for their students to benefit from the many potential positive mental and physical rewards.
